Our 6-Step Claim Process
Here is the contractor process we follow so you stay informed every step of the way.
Roof Damage Inspection
We inspect the roofing system and document visible storm-related conditions with photographs, measurements, and notes.
Homeowner Reports the Claim
When appropriate, the homeowner contacts the insurance carrier and reports the claim. HTR can provide contractor information and documentation needed for the inspection process.
Adjuster Inspection
At the homeowner's request, HTR can meet the carrier's adjuster at the property and point out documented roofing conditions.
Scope Review and Contractor Supplement
We compare the carrier's scope with actual roofing requirements. When construction items are missing, HTR may submit an estimate or contractor supplement with supporting documentation.
Material Selection and Installation
Once the project scope, contract, and payment responsibilities are established, we schedule installation.
Final Construction Documentation
After completion, HTR provides final invoices, photographs, and other contractor documentation related to the completed work.
